Uzbek PM: winter has not yet come, but problems have already begun

Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov chaired a videoconference on November 28, devoted to problems in power supply.

Abdulla Aripov sharply criticized the state of affairs in this direction. “Winter has not yet come, but problems with the supply of gas and electricity to the population have already begun,” Aripov said.

“It’s a shame. Those responsible for the supply of electricity and gas do not fully feel their responsibility. Those responsible have never yet given a clear answer as to why all this is happening. Outrage over such cases is directed not only against the Ministry of Energy, but also against the government. More than 30 thousand cases of illegal use of electricity have been detected, the amount of damage amounted to 22 billion soums. There are many cases of unauthorized connection to gas networks. And the people suffer, ” the Prime Minister said.
