According to the Agency for the development of public-private partnership, the heat supply system of Tashkent will be handled by the French company Veolia for the next 30 years.
In order to modernize the city’s district heating network, it is planned to invest about 1.4 billion euros.
The loss of heat energy at the State Unitary Enterprise Toshissikkuvvati today is 42 percent. Last year, the company suffered a net loss of $44.7 thousand. State subsidies for the year exceeded $62.7 thousand.
Modernization, according to the project, will increase the efficiency of heat supply systems by an average of 50%.
