China to help Uzbekistan in development of navigation systems

The Chinese city of Nanning hosted the China-Central Asia forum.  Number of agreements had been reached between China and Central Asian countries in boosting the research and application of the BeiDou system in areas such as transport, precision agriculture and disaster relief. 

According to Uzbek delegation, cooperation with the Chinese navigation system will give huge opportunities for the development of such areas as transport, agriculture, and digital communications.

The latest satellites of the Beidou navigation system are expected to be launched by mid-2020.
