Turkey deports prostitutes from Uzbekistan, Russia, Ukraine and Georgia

The Turkish province of Artvin detained women from Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Georgia. According to the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet, all the detainees are accused of prostitution.

A total of 33 young girls, as well as the organizers of the criminal group were detained. Among them: 5 Uzbeks, 20 girls from Georgia, 4 from Kyrgyzstan, 3 from Russia and 1 citizen of Ukraine.

Medical examination of the detainees showed that twelve of them were infected with venereal diseases.

At the conclusion of the trial, all the women were deported from the country.
